Cell phone Problem


My less then a yr old S10 will randomly shut down for no reason....has happened twice DEC and just the other day...Verzion Wont send me a new device...They want me to do a Factory reset Before the ok we will send u a phone...

Since this happens randomly does a factory reset really seem necessary?? I have three months left until things run out....
